A Brand Dedicated to Supporting LGBTQ+ Veterans Through Community, Visibility, and Connection

Youngstown, Ohio — Rainbow Unity is proud to officially announce the launch of Rainbow Unity Wear, a mission-driven apparel and community brand created to support and uplift LGBTQ+ veterans through visibility, fellowship, and digital community building.

Rainbow Unity Wear serves as the core mission initiative of Rainbow Unity and was developed with one purpose in mind: creating a safe and affirming space where LGBTQ+ veterans can connect, share experiences, build friendships, and support one another without judgment.

What makes the initiative especially meaningful is that the organization’s Board of Directors includes LGBTQ+ veterans themselves — individuals who understand firsthand the importance of representation, belonging, and community support.

“This was more than creating a clothing brand,” said Solomon Co Founder of rainbow unity  “This was about creating visibility, conversation, and a place where LGBTQ+ veterans feel seen, respected, and welcomed.”

The launch of Rainbow Unity Wear will include:

• A dedicated online merchandise store featuring apparel and branded items designed around pride, resilience, unity, and military identity

• A digital community space where LGBTQ+ veterans can fellowship, network, and engage in meaningful conversation

• Dedicated weekly programming and community nights specifically centered around LGBTQ+ veterans and their experiences

• Future storytelling, advocacy, and awareness campaigns focused on amplifying LGBTQ+ veteran voices

Rainbow Unity believes that many LGBTQ+ veterans often navigate unique experiences both during and after military service, making intentional spaces for connection and support critically important.

The organization hopes Rainbow Unity Wear becomes more than a brand — but a movement centered around dignity, healing, empowerment, and unity.

The Rainbow Unity Wear website and merchandise collection are expected to launch soon, alongside upcoming digital community events and veteran-focused programming.
